ABSTRACT SUBMISSION HAS BEEN COMPLETED

Late Breakers

ESID late breaker abstracts can be submitted after June 1, the late breaker abstract deadline is August 15, 2010. Late breakers will either be selected for oral presentation or rejected. Late breakers will not be allocated to the poster. If is not excepted as oral presentation it will appear as an abstract in final abstract book.

  • Abstracts may be submitted only via online submission module. (www.esid2010.org)
  • The abstracts submitted via mail and via fax will not be considered.
  • The deadline for the abstract submission is June 15th , 2010.
  • Abstract authors should select the abstract category which best fits their abstract for ESID Meeting.

The Scientific committee reserves the right to change the abstract category if they see necessary.
The categories have been divided into the following 10 tracks by ESID organizing committee.

INGID Abstracts

IPOPI Abstracts

  • Abstracts may be accepted into one of the three categories; oral, poster or abstract-only. Authors should indicate their presentation preference.
  • The Final evaluation will be made by the Scientific Committees and boards. The authors will be informed about the type of their presentation by July 1st 2010. Submissions allocated abstract only will be printed in the Congress' Abstract Book but cannot be displayed as a poster.
  • Abstracts should be prepared in English.
  • Title should be short, explanatory and not more that 20 words.
  • Authors' names, surnames, institutes, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses should be mentioned on the "Authors' Part".
  • Presenter's name, surname and abstract title should be mentioned in bold.
  • Abstract text may not be longer than 350 words, should be prepared in Office 2000 or an upper software version, (12 size), Times New Roman character. Tables can be inserted.
  • Oral abstracts' presentation time is 10 minutes.
  • Oral abstracts should be presented by using audiovisual aids, computers or video players.
  • Posters should be in 70 cm width and 90 cm height. The abstracts should be prepared in size that should be read from one meter distance.
  • Posters shall be displayed during entire meeting.
  • All posters should carry a contact e-mail.

Notification of Acceptance or Rejection

Notification of acceptance or rejection of submitted regular abstracts will be sent to the corresponding author after 1st of July ,2010. Please note that only the corresponding author will receive the email concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing all co-authors of the status of the abstract. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted will receive instructions for the presentation of their abstract. If an abstract is accepted and the registration fee of the presenting author is not received by August 15, 2010, the abstract will not be published in the abstract book.
